A brief guide around Russia

Russia is the land of contrasts: geographically, economically, mentally, etc. And this fact attracts lots of tourists to our Motherland. So, I’d like to present a brief recommendation for visitors.

Northwest Russia. Whether it’s for a night out, day trip or weekend away with family, Russian Northwest has a wealth of attractions to inspire you. Museums, galleries, stately homes, seaside parks, a host of sporting events.

St. Petersburg is a must!

Southwest Russia. A region of diverse contrasts, from the cosmopolitan appeal of Sochi and beautiful countryside, to the wild and rugged mountain scenery of Petegorsk. Quaint fishing ports, golden sandy beachesand medieval palaces await tourists!

Moscow is one of the most intrigue cities in Russia; no other Russian city offers the history, beauty and sheer diversity of Moscow. The superbly preserved walled city has witnessed more than 800 years of vibrant history. Combine quaint tea shops with bustling shopping streets, bars, cafes and fantastic attractions and you’ve got the perfect holiday destination.

The Volga region appeals to lie in both its timelessness and modernity. It can be named as ‘the heart of England’. The cultural diversity and the vibrancy of cities and towns reflect a very different Russia.

Don’t miss a tiny city of Ulyanovsk, a birthplace of Lenin.

Siberia. With its miles upon miles of unspoilt nature, meandering rivers, ancient woodlands, this region has a unique character.

Achievements of our country

The great achievement of Russia is a political system. Russia is a parliamentary republic. Head of state in the country is the president.

The government consists of three branches: legislative, executive and judicial. The president controls each of them.
